      In another (handwritten) version, it adds that Robert was a grocer clerk born in Fredericton NB and the mother's surname looks like Demas. A note to the side says "bap. cert. filed Nov. 18, 1918". All the entries on the page have similar notes. Perhaps the records suffered some disaster and had to be re-created later?
